Grandparents - yay!

Tadhg is very excited to meet some grandparents at last.

New Skills

Tadhgs new skills include...

sitting up nonchalantly,

 wiggling toes on demand,

 sitting in a highchair (and kind of eating baby rice),

 picking up lots of stuff in order to shove it in his mouth,

and rolling. However, the rolling only happened one day (albeit about 6 times). Now he seems to have decided he's too lazy for rolling and just lies there waiting for someone to come play with him.

Whitebait Fritters

A guy from Mikes work gave us some whitebait today. They're tiny scaleless fish which are a kiwi delicacy - and are weird enough to get their own blog post.

 

And the verdict?? Actually they are very nice. They taste like nice battered white fish.

 

Tommy the Tiger

Tadhg learned how to make Tommy the Tiger move today. Which was fascinating for him, and even more fascinating for me. I admit that most, if not all, of you will find this video very boring!

News Flash: Mortimer has changed his name to Máirtín.

Just like his Dad, Tadhg can fall asleep anywhere - as long as he has had enough food and drink.

Modelling cute booties from Anna Burke. I can't wait to put some of the other presents on him, but, although he is putting on loads of bulk, unfortunately he's not tall enough for the next size up yet! Really it's inevitable with two short-arsed parents!
